Frontline Plus
from: PetSpectacle.comAs a pet parent, one of your main concerns is ensuring that your four-legged family member is as healthy as possible. Some of the common ailments that dogs and cats experience include fleas and ticks, as well as other infections that can become common without regular fur cleanings and vaccinations. You can cut down on the health problems that your pet has when you purchase pet medication like Frontline Plus. There is no prescription required for this medicine, and many pet owners can reported success by using Frontline Plus.
The medicine works in as little as 48 hours, so if your pet already has flees, they will be gone in less than a week. Frontline Plus also kills the ticks that carry Lyme disease, which could save you thousands on doctor bills and prevent your pet from experiencing any more discomfort. And, the medicine will even get rid of the fleas that have not completely matured yet, so that the problem will not continue. This is because the pet medication contains fipronil, which affects the nervous system of ticks and fleas. This causes the paralysis and death of these pests, without harming your pet. Frontline Plus will not hurt your pet when you apply it, since you can put the medication directly on the fur.
And, you don't have to worry about the medication coming off if you're going to be traveling with your pet this summer. Even if you take your dog swimming, are out in the sun for long periods of time, or bathe your dog every week in the summer, Frontline Plus will stay in tact until it is time for the next dosage.
Since you don't need a prescription for Frontline Plus, you'll want to find out where you get the medicine for an affordable price. The price will depend on the size of your pet, since you'll need to use more for larger dogs. If your pet is under 22 pounds, you will most likely pay about $45 for 3 applications. Frontline offers medications for pets that are up to 132 pounds, so you're sure to find medication choices for your breed of dog without too much of a problem.
Even if you find the right pet supplies to keep your dog healthy, and Frontline Plus seems to be working really well, you'll need to make sure that you're still meeting with your vet at least once a quarter to give your pet a checkup. This will let you know whether or not you need to be concerned about conditions like diabetes in your cat, or Addison's disease in your dog. You may also be able to find recommendations for a vet if you're moving to a new city when you log onto the Yellow Pages site for your city.
